  13. Can the latest version of xdvik be told by another process
  14. to reread the .dvi file?
  15. xtex can be prompted by something like latekmk to reread
  16. every time the .dvi file is modified - can we do the same?
  17. Can anyone recommend something better than latexmk: 
  18. something that can read the first comment in the .tex file
  19. to decide what program to run?  [yes - I know LaTeX2e does
  20. not need this carry on, but we don't have it yet]
